Turn your pictures into bead patterns

Drop a photo or a drawing: Beads Studio converts it into a bead grid using the real Artkal, Hama, Perler and five other brands' codes. Fix it bead by bead, then print a pattern one pegboard per page.

See it for yourself

Three images run through the app, untouched. Click one to start from it.

Three steps, five minutes

  1. 1

    Drop your image

Any picture will do. Pick your bead size and the pattern width: the real size in centimetres and the number of pegboards appear straight away.

  2. 2

    Adjust the result

Fix single beads, swap one colour everywhere, stack several pictures as layers. Nothing is out of reach.

  3. 3

    Print and build

A PDF with one page per pegboard, every bead labelled with its code, plus the exact shopping list.

What the app does

The manufacturer's real colours

2,093 real references: Artkal A/C/M/R/S, Hama Mini/Midi/Maxi, Perler, Nabbi, Mard, Yant, Diamond Dotz. Every bead carries its official code and symbol.

Colour matching that trusts your eye

Matching runs in CIE L*a*b* with the CIEDE2000 difference, the formula that follows human perception. A plain RGB distance, common elsewhere, picks visibly wrong beads.

Bead sizes never get mixed

Pick a diameter first — 2.6, 2.8, 5 or 10 mm — and only the charts of that size become available. Pegboard and centimetres follow.

Bead by bead editor

Pencil, eraser, colour picker, paint bucket, and replacing one colour across the whole pattern — with every affected bead highlighted before you commit.

Layers, like in a drawing app

A background, characters, objects: stack several pictures and move them freely. Your earlier projects can be reused as layers.

A pattern you can actually read

One A4 page per pegboard, column and row numbers, a heavier line every 5 beads, and the beads needed for that page alone.

Your beads, your pattern

Declare the colours you own: the pattern can stick to those only, or tell you exactly what is missing.

Exports and saving

PDF, PNG, and a project file to reopen later. A library keeps your creations in the browser.
